FROM SID SWINNEY:

KAREN AND I WERE ORGANIZING SOME OF OUR PAPER WORK AND WE CAME ACROSS THIS PIECE OF ART I SAVED FROM COPY CORP. I THOUGHT YOU MIGHT GET A KICK OUT OF SEEING IT AGAIN AS DID I.   WE HAD A NUMBER OF TALENTED PEOPLE AT COPY CORP.  I THOUGH THIS MIGHT BE SOMETHING TO PUT ON THE COPY CORP CLUB SITE, SHOWING HOW MUCH FUN WE HAD AT COPY CORP?

Many of you may remember when Sid built some shelving for the new parts room.
Problem was, he built the shelving in the warehouse and when he tried to move the shelving to the parts room,
It was too tall to go through the door, so as you will recall, Sid took a chain saw to the door/wall.
RAY HAAS said that BILL FARNSLEY did this artwork and the service team did the commentary (IN RED BELOW)  to commemorate the event.

Once upon a time in the land of Cannonovia, there rode a band of merry men. .Sidovious, the leader, was a brave and resourceful man. His associates (or Henchmen, depending On your point of view) were also brave and resourceful, they numbered three. Dougicus The Red Faced One, John The Sly, and Sir Christopher. Dougicus was always involved in something that raised the eyebrows of Sidovious. John the Sly was just that, quiet and sly. You had to keep an eye on him. Sir Christopher was the fastidious type and was often heard mumbling "Just get it done" over &, over to himself.

One day King James decreed that the "Village of Parts'" should be relocated, and set Sidovious and his merry men at the task. This seemed a relatively easy task at first. Build a new location, prepare
it for habitation, and move the village in. Sidovious contracted Roger The Carpenter and Melvin The Drywall Magician to build the new location, and it was done. As for preparation, Sidovious felt he and his merry men could accomplish this. While Dougicus The Red Faced, John The Sly, and Sir Christopher built shelving, Dougicus recruited many serfs for moving the parts. With the problem of the move solved, the merry men returned to the preparation of the new location. Sidovious re-contacted Roger The Carpenter and Melvin The Magician to paint the location.

With that done, it was time to move. But HO, there were no shelves! Sidovious investigated and found that his merry men had built the shelves in the newly appointed land of Francisovia. This was not good and the shelves had to be moved. Sidoviuos and Dougicus agreed that the merry band should move the shelves themselves so as not to seem inferior in the eyes of the serfs. The shelves it seemed were monsterous, twelve feet long and nine feet high, but these brave men were not deterred. They pushed and shoved. They grunted and groaned, and they moved the monsterous shelves. Alas the way was blocked. The entrance to Partsville was only seven and one-half feet high. The merry men pondered and puzzled, they examined and measured and lo and behold, a long and low growl erupted and the lead shelf monster bit a hole in the passage, thereby making it possible to pass. When all the shelves were in place, Sidovious again Contracted Roger The Carpenter and Melvin The Magician to work their magic of wood, plaster, and paint and it was done.

The serfs were called in, and the move was completed. If you listen to the story tellers they will tell you that the monster shelves could not have bitten a hole the size needed to pass through, but Sidovious was sighted near the entrance to Partsville with a chainsaw and a very satisfied grin.
